Raye looks at her. “Hello it is okay to be shy. I’m not going to bite you i promise. By any chance are you a worker here?”
She tried to calm down, it was obvious this girl wouldn’t hurt her. “Y-Yes, I am.”
Ringo was very nervous talking to new people, but it was her job to greet the customers as the entered the building. She had to be brave!
"H-Hello…! Welcome to Cafe Mew Mew!"
"Hello My name is Raye. It is nice to meet all of you." Raye bows to everyone not sure if anyone will really talk to her.
Ringo approached the other girl slowly, feeling rather shy. The older girl seemed very polite but Ringo just couldn’t help but feel a little nervous. “H-Hi…”
Berry grinned widely, even with the other girls she was always the last one, the different one. She hadn’t been change that day on the hill and neither had Ringo, they had that in common and it was nice to know someone who understood that feeling.
"Yay! The bunny and penguin team!"
The bunny and penguin team… that sounded nice. She thought to herself wistfully. Just then a customer from across the room: “Waitress! Where’s my order??” And Ringo jumped for the second time. “Ah! Coming!” She turned towards Berry and smiled one more time before running to the kitchen.
"Probably form the internet, Ryou couldn’t talk to a girl to find out what she liked if someone forced him to", she giggled with Ringo, covering her mouth slightly as she did.
Berry blushed, tugging at her hair slightly, “It’s…embarassing sometimes, because I’m not like the others. I’m…something different, the next wave I guess”, she grabbed Ringo’s hands, “We can be different together!”
Ringo really felt like she could sympathize with Berry. Well, mostly. They both felt different from the others and honestly, it relieved Ringo to meet another girl like her. The other Mews were super sweet and accepting of her but she couldn’t help feeling like she does.
In an instant, her face nearly became as red as her uniform once the older girl touched her hands. What…?
Why was she so happy and nervous?
She nodded slowly before snapping out of her slight daze and smiled. “Yes!”
"He did! It’s sooo weird, I didn’t think that Ryou knew what girls liked but", Berry motioned back to the dining room, full of girls eating and talking, they hardly had a male customer, "I love Penguins! Kinda though? Are you like me? Somehow, I blame Ryou, I have two types of dna. Cat and rabbit"
She giggled a little louder. “Who knows how he figured it out!”
Ringo felt herself get a bit flustered. She loved penguins? Ahh! More importantly! “Two types?” That was a shock. “Ringo doesn’t have that! That’s so cool!”
Ringo shifted. “Ringo doesn’t have any animal DNA in her like the others. It makes Ringo feel a little left out.”
